C-ID Software

Caller Identification Software

Floreat’s Caller-ID software detection method implements ITU-T and Bell Core recommendations. Caller ID is a method of transmitting the telephone number and/or name of the caller to the subscriber via a burst of V.23 or Bell 202 data during the ringing phase of a telephone call. Floreat Type-I Caller-ID software (on-hook Caller-ID) provides the calling party information while the call is ringing, and Type-II Caller-ID software (off-hook Caller-ID) provides the additional convenience of calling number display while the recipient is on another call. Floreat Caller-ID software supports V.23 detection for Europe, Bell 202 for North America as well as DTMF detection.

The Floreat Caller-ID telephony signaling software is modular, re-locatable and re-entrant to support multi-channel capability and can operate within a multi-tasking environment or as a single task.

It supports user callable functions and can be integrated with Floreat’s other fax, telephony, speech compression, VoIP, FoIP, DSVD, imaging and video software for various applications. Floreat Caller-ID software is supported on various DSPs and processors as well as offered in ANSI C.
