We have openings for engineers with working experience and expertise with the following modules:

1) Modem and Fax modem Software:

• Modem: V.90, V.34, V.32bis, V.32, V.22bis, V.22, V.23, V.21, Bell212A, Bell103, Bell202
• Protocols: V.42, V.42bis, V.44
• Fax Modem: V.17, V.29, V.27ter, V.21ch.2
• FoIP/ Protocols: T.38, T.37, T.30

2) Telephony & VoIP Software:

• G.729/A/AB, G.723.1, G.726, G.711;
• Echo canceller: G.168 & G.165; CP, DTMF, C-ID, AEC, NR, VAD, CNG; PLC,
• VFD discrimination, Adaptive Jitter Buffer management.

Qualifications and experience:

• EE/M-Tech/ME /MS in Electrical Engineering with courses in Communications and DSP algorithms
• At least 3 years work experience
• Expertise in code development in ANSI C
• Experience with porting and optimization into assembly of various DSPs and RISC processors

Responsibilities:

• Code development in ANSI C – Basic Telephony software, G.168-2002, AEC, NR
• Porting and optimization in assembly of telephony modules and ITU-T G.72x codecs
• Porting and optimization of the above listed Modem, Fax, Telephony and VoIP software

Desirable work experience:

• Experience with the following DSPs and Processors:
• Texas Instruments: C55x, C54x, C64x
• CEVA: Teak, TeakLite, TeakLite-II
• Analog Devices: Blackfin BF5xx, ADSP21xx
• Processors: ARM 9/ 9E, XScale, MIPS
• H.323; H.225, H.235, H.245, H.450, RTP/ RTCP, SIP
• Integration of codes listed above into various commercially available operating systems
