Anu Maitra

President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Anu Maitra is Floreat’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Maitra steered the company in the direction of providing IP based software solutions, and established its Canada and India operations. Before joining Floreat she taught Business and Consumer Microeconomics, Mathematical Economics and Econometrics at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University, a M.A. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, India, and a B.A. in Economics Honors from Miranda House, Delhi University, India. Dr. Maitra also serves as President of the Board of Trustees of UC Santa Cruz.
Kishan Shenoi

Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Kishan Shenoi received his B.TECH degree from IIT Delhi in 1972, MS from Columbia University in 1973, and Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1977, all in electrical engineering. He been active in the telecommunications field since 1977 and since 2006 has been associated with Floreat as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to this he worked at Symmetricom, DSC Communications, and ITT Advanced Technology Center. He is named on 40 US patents and has authored several papers. He has published two books, Digital Signal Processing in Telecommunications (Prentice Hall, 1995) and Synchronization and Timing in Telecommunication (Amazon.com, 2009). Dr. Shenoi is active in the Standards community, principally ITU-T SG15/Q13 and ATIS-COAST-SYNC. He serves as co-chair of the Technical Committee for the annual NIST-sponsored Workshop on Synchronization in Telecommunications Systems (WSTS).
Raj Gupta

Vice President, Sales and Applications
Mr. Raj Gupta is our Vice President of Sales and Applications. He has over 15 years of diversified sales and product marketing experience in embedded software, telecom systems, test equipment, and devices. For the past ten years, he has focused on the communications market for embedded processors, DSPs, firmware and software. He has worked very closely with telecom and semiconductor companies worldwide, established several critical alliances, and signed on numerous tier-one customers as well as supported them at various project stages. He received a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Marathwada University, India and an MBA from Queen’s School of Business, Canada.
